We are successively implementing development plans, which is why we are looking for another Product Owner for our close-knit team of twenty. 

As Product Owner, you work with the business teams to prioritise and develop features, ensuring it generates value and uses the latest technological innovations.

Job description:

In your role as product owner, your main aims are to understand and co-create a ‘product’ vision with the CEO and other product owner(s) to lead and translate the vision into a prioritised backlog for the team. In addition, you will prioritise and bring structure to achieve the set goals with your team. We are looking for a technical focussed product owner who has a good understanding of backend applications. You will also work with the CTO to map the required capabilities to achieve the product roadmap goals.


Align with our CEO, CTO and developer(s) on the product vision

Align on the business requirements and -together with the application architect;

Translate these business requirements into epics and user stories that are focussed on the setup of a logical and future-proof structure of technical components. You can align with business and technical teams to find the best solutions.

Assess the value, manage dependencies and prioritise stories and epics to ensure work focuses on items with maximum value and is aligned with the business needs;

Take ownership of running/maintaining the environment once you have developed the solution;

Prioritise, realise and report effectively on results, deviations and solutions to stakeholders;

Continuously communicate with stakeholders about the status of the work, the risks and the decisions made or needed to progress.


Min. 3 years of relevant working experience;

A track record of proven success in past positions;

Experience with a start-up and/or scale-up is a preference;

Experience with project management tooling such as JIRA;

Experience in an Agile working environment;

Highly proficient in spoken and written English;

Open to travelling to the Netherlands to meet stakeholders;
